Laser Therapy:

Laser therapy can relieve pain, reduce swelling and increase range of motion.

Laser therapy is a new, painless, non surgical, drug free treatment option - the latest, proven technology for treating multiple issues with your animal.

Theraputic effects:
The painless application of laser energy promotes increased circulation by drawing oxygen and nutrients to the affected area. This creates an optimal healing environment reducing inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, stiffness and pain. As the injured area returns to normal, pain is relieved and function is restored. There is no patient sedation or restraint required during treatment, and the experience is usually pleasant and comforting to them.

Radiograph System (x-rays)

Jackman's Animal Clinic has recently updated our radiograph system (x-rays). We have upgraded from traditional film to digital radiography. Instead of radiographic film, digital radiography uses a digital image capture device. This gives advantages of immediate image preview and availability; elimination of costly film processing steps; a wider dynamic range, which makes it more forgiving for over- and under-exposure; as well as the ability to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display of the image. Also, in most cases, less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to film radiography. This upgrade will still allow us to do radiographs on large animals outside the clinic and allows us to have instant images wherever we may be. We, at Jackman's Animal Clinic, are very excited what our new technology will provide to you, our clients, and to our patients.
